Porsche's 911 GT3 RS is one of the most capable track cars you can buy. It can blow away pretty much any other car on a circuit—provided the driver is able to get the most out of the car, that is.
This video, courtesy of the ever-fantastic , shows a modified 993-generation Porsche 911 virtually attached to the bumper of a new 911 GT3 RS during a tourist session on the Nurburgring Nordschleife. The onboard clip shows the cars battling it out as they fly by heavy traffic, coming inches from making .
The driver of this track-ready 993 has a history of battling it out with newer Porsches on track, but this video might be the most intense yet. It's clear that while the GT3 RS is the more capable car, it's the driver of the 993—Sandro Ziegler—has the upper hand when it comes to driver skill.
