Manufacturers have come up with all sorts of wild, interesting names for cars throughout the years. Names that make sense for the car, and some that don't make sense at all, but still sound cool.
The coolest name given to a car I can think of is the GMC Typhoon. It's a turbo-V6 powered all-wheel drive GMC Jimmy two-door SUV with 270 horsepower and enough performance to outrun a Ferrari 348 to 60 mph. Back in the day, it was incredibly quick and powerful, just like the storm system it was named after. Its sister car, the Syclone pickup truck, has an equally fitting name.
Now we'd like to know: Which car do you think has the best name? It could be any car—old or new, street legal or not. A really cool name is the only requirement this time around. Let us know in the comments below.
