The Ford F-150 went from steel construction to aluminum with the last generation. The idea was to maintain the same strength while putting the truck on an aggressive diet. Now, GM is apparently looking to one-up Ford on its next generation of pickups.
Automotive News is reporting that and aluminum in the construction of its next generation pickup trucks, specifically in the bed. GM better ensure that it's very strong, especially after the company doubled down on ads showing how its steel beds were stronger than the F-150's aluminum.
If you have an Alexander Rossi or Marco Andretti tattoo, . Next season, the two drivers will be switching rides within Andretti Autosport. Marco will be in the 98 car run in partnership with Bryan Herta while Rossi will move to the 27.
The engineering teams and sponsors will still be the same, so the only tattoo updates that are needed will be the numbers.
The new Panamera is fantastic to drive and finally has the looks to match it. But the big hit is the hybrid model. Porsche says that for the Panamera are choosing the electrified model, which bodes well for Porsche as it begins its push into more electrified models. That's 15 percent more than they expected.
And thankfully, the hybrid isn't boring, so this is a net positive.

FIA President for a third term in the position. The FIA also apparently has term limits, so this will be Todt's final four years in the job.
A new FIA president will be elected in 2021.
