What's the Best-Sounding Turbocharged Car?

Forced induction is a hell of a thing.

Manufacturers have built tons of turbocharged cars over the years. Some of them—old ones especially—sound really cool. Which one do you think makes the best noise?

Personally, I'm a fan of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 unit found in the Mercedes-AMG GT R. This engine is featured in other cars in the Mercedes range as well, but it sounds best in this car, thanks to its standard titanium exhaust. Despite the forced induction, it still makes a deep rumble on the low end, and roars all the way to redline. I still prefer the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter of Mercedes-AMG past, but if I had to choose a new turbo motor, this 4.0-liter would be it.

Now we'd like to know: Which turbocharged car do you think sounds the best? It doesn't have to be specifically old or new; it just has to be a turbocharged car that makes a sound you enjoy. Let us know in the comments below.
