V8 swaps are common among car builders looking to get the most out of a platform. Whether it be for drifting, road racing, or just plain old street driving, dropping in a V8 is a great way to make a car perform better.
My pick? The Nissan 240SX. I hate to pick such an obvious answer, but it's true. The 240SX is great on its own, but truly comes alive once you install a Chevy LS under the hood. There's a reason nearly every drift car in America is a V8-swapped 240SX: They're perfectly balanced, extremely forgiving, and simple to modify or repair.
Now we'd like to know: Which car do you think is best with a V8 swap? It doesn't have to be specifically new or old, or even that popular. It just has to be a V8-swapped car that you think is great to drive. Let us know in the comments below.
