Which Great Driver's Sedans Do People Always Forget About?

M3, C63, and RS4 are great, we know. But there are a bunch of other fun-to-drive sedans out there worth remembering.

Fun driver's sedans first got their start in the mid 1960s with cars like the BMW 2002 and Alfa Romeo Giulietta. But there are a bunch of other cars from all sorts of manufacturers that have made good driver's cars over the years, some of which people forget about.

If there's one driver's sedan I think people should pay more attention to, it's the Lexus IS300. From the outside, it seems like any other mid-2000s Lexus sedan, but in reality, it makes for a seriously competent driver's car. Power from a naturally aspirated 2JZ straight six (yes, that 2JZ) gets to the rear wheels via an available five-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. Because of the engine, there's plenty of ways to customize it and make it your own.
