If the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet somehow isn't exclusive or extravagant enough for you, this truck might be the answer. It's a rare US-market G500 convertible customized by Brabus, and it's for sale.
Welcome to You Must Buy, our daily look at the cars you really should be buying instead of that boring commuter sedan.
This early US-spec two-door is pretty rare on its own, as it sports a late power-operated convertible top. Adding to the rarity is a full Brabus conversion which includes a bodykit, a fully redone interior, an engine tune, an exhaust, and a set of massive black wheels. The dark blue-painted truck, wrapped in matte black, is said to have traveled just 44,618 miles since new.
The New Jersey-based seller, Top Gear Imports, is for the interestingly proportioned convertible SUV. For comparison, that's about $56,000 more than the base price of a brand new V12-powered G65 AMG four-door.
This truck surely isn't for everybody, but if you really want to stand out in a sea of beige economy boxes, you could do a whole lot worse than this thing.on Top Gear Imports' site.
