In a world filled with tiny turbocharged engines and hybrid electric power, it's always a treat to hear a well-tuned V12 stretch its lungs. Which V12 engine do you think sounds the best?
Personally, I think the new Apollo IE has one of the best-sounding V12s I've heard in a long time. It uses the 6.3-liter engine from the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, upgraded to 780 horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. of torque. It revs to 9000 RPM, and uses a custom exhaust developed by Autotecnica Motori in Italy. It sounds like a high-strung race car, and looks like a concept car from the future.
Now we'd like to know: Which V12 engine do you think sounds the best? It doesn't have to be anything new or street-legal like the Apollo IE, either—it could be anything, as long as the car you choose has a V12 engine. Let us know in the comments below.
