The Ferrari 430 Scuderia was built to carve around race tracks as quickly as possible. But as this video from 2009 shows, it's no slouch in a straight line, either.
Best Motoring had the bright idea to race a 503-horsepower 430 Scuderia against a few other supercars (and a race car) back when it was new, and proved the Italian two-door is just as capable on the straightaways as it is through corners. It defeats a modified 360 Modena with ease, along with a Lamborghini Gallardo, and even a twin-turbo Porsche 911 GT2—a car with 30 more horsepower.
Best Motoring ended up racing the 430 against the GT2 a second time, and it was the Porsche that took the win (but not by much). Roll racing isn't what the Ferrari was built to do, but it can certainly get the job done.
