The Lotus Elise is great for many reasons. In addition to the agility, steering feel, and handling prowess, it has another thing going for it: Sound.

This Elise Club Racer has been heavily modified with a centrifugal-type supercharger attached to its tiny 1.6-liter Toyota inline-four, and now pushes 200 horsepower to the rear wheels. In addition to being plenty powerful (for a car that size, anyway), it makes a wonderful noise thanks to an aftermarket exhaust. Here, listen for yourself.
