After a pleasant motorbike ride through the English countryside, who wouldn't want to hop in a little power boat and put out to the local pond?
This 1960 video surfaced by showcases the Belle, an amphibious motorcycle sidecar created by Canterbury Sidecars Ltd in 1959. The little boat could be mounted on wheels and hooked up to your bike. When you get to the shore, simply lift the boat off the sidecar mount and set sail. The motorized vessel came with an 80cc motor, claiming speeds up to 11 knots and averaging 60 miles to the gallon.
The Belle is 8 feet in length and easily detached from the motorcycle (so easy you can do it in high heels, apparently), allowing for a quick water launch. The unique sidecar even had some room for luggage as well as your first mate. Cheerio.
