They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and brevity is the soul of wit. Los Angeles-based ad agency epitomizes both axioms with a recent set of genius spec advertisements for Nissan's long-anticipated GT-R NISMO. Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Porsche are all skewered, their respective spirit animals rendered to the flesh, literally.
UK-based photographer Tim Kent shot the clever spec ads. The basic concept is genius, and the stark tones reflect the cold, hard mechanical truth of Nissan's zero-to-sixty prowess. The NISMO GT-R may not have the flash of its European rivals, but it puts up numbers with clinical precision.
Nissan tells us it didn't commission these ads, which is a shame. They're the best we've seen in a while.
