What's the Greatest Race Track in America?

Whether just visiting to watch a race, or driving it yourself, everyone has a favorite track. What's yours?

Everyone who likes racing has a favorite track. Even if you've never driven on it yourself, there's at least one circuit that's on your bucket list.

My personal favorite? It's a tossup, really, between two locations: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Watkins Glen International. I drove to Laguna Seca last year from New York just to run a track day in my Fiesta ST, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The combination of fast sweepers and technical corners had me grinning ear to ear, even as the day winded down. Plus, the history and people there made the visit that much better.

More recently, though, I've been able to visit the newly paved Watkins Glen circuit, and it is simply fantastic. The Glen is a huge, wide open track that I think would be really fun with a high-horsepower car, but even in the Boxster I drove, it was one hell of a time.
