What's the Best Italian Supercar You Can Buy?

Italy has produced countless fantastic sports cars over the years. Which ones do you think are best?

Over the years, Italy's produced some of the finest-driving cars on the planet. Brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani are synonymous with prestige, exclusivity, and most importantly, fantastic engine notes.

One of my all-time favorite Italian supercars is the Murciélago. It was the first Lamborghini built under Audi ownership, and featured a new modernized look, electronically controlled air intake vents, and of course, a great-sounding 6.5-liter V12.

The coolest part? You could get it with a gated manual transmission. That, combined with the V12 right behind your head, seems like a dream drive to me. Of course, collectors are starting to realize this, hence the recent spike in manual Murciélago prices.

Now we want to know: What's the best Italian supercar out there? It doesn't have to modern—any '60s Ferrari will do, really. It just has to be a fantastic performance car made in Italy. Let us know in the comments below.
