Full disclosure: I owned a Fiesta ST for around four years. I bought it new, and put about 50,000 miles on it, including a cross-country road trip, multiple track days, ice races, rallycrosses, and autocrosses. I still miss it, and after watching this video from the YouTube channel, I'm wondering if I should go buy another one.
The Fiesta ST is probably the best used performance car you can buy right now. As the host points out in the video below, you soon won't be able to buy them new anymore because Ford is axing all non-crossovers (except the Mustang) from its North American lineup.
As a $20,000+ new car, there were some faults. The ride was incredibly stiff, and the interior left a lot to be desired. But as a used car ? That stuff can definitely be overlooked. The immediate turn-in and wonderful feelings you get behind the wheel are certainly worth it at that price.
If the prices get under the five-digit mark, I might not be able to hold myself back.
