Jag has rediscovered its sports-car cred with models like the F-type and XKR-S, but the impressive XJ flagship reminds us just how well the Brits do a proper luxury sedan. The leather- and chrome-swathed interior is comfortable and refined without being stodgy, and the all-wheel-drive setup doesn't sap the supercharged six, which feels plenty powerful and responsive. The back seats will spoil your kids for life. We'd like more redundant buttons for the infotainment system, however; the touch-screen-for-everything is distracting.
