Bid on Beckham's Porsche 911 Turbo

Like the end of a soccer match, extra time has been awarded to those who missed the chance to bid on a Porsche 911 Turbo once owned by David Beckham. Numerous news outlets reported the sinister-looking sports car had sold for $217,000, via online auction site However, it now appears the winning bidder has pulled out of the deal.

So if you're in the market for a gently used 2008 911 Turbo cabriolet– complete with custom leather interior featuring Beckham's #23 jersey number – consider this your second chance. Apparently, Becks wasn't content to own just any 480-bhp all-wheel-drive German sports car. The soccer legend and current player for the Los Angeles Galaxy had loads of custom touches added to his 911.

The most visible change from stock is a matte-black paintjob, which extends to the alloy wheels and even black-out headlights. It looks cool, and is undoubtedly a nightmare to keep clean. The car is on sale (again) by Chequered Flag International, an exotic car dealership based in Los Angeles – though it remains unclear if the Porsche will be listed on eBay for a second time.
