With a price of just $80, this McLaren 570S Spider costs a mere fraction of the full-size car it's based on.

Here's a common scenario: you're a parent, and you need a push car for your kid, but you don't want the same ones all the other lame parents use. McLaren and toymaker Step2 have the solution. It's called the 570S Step2 Push Sports Car and it's yours for just $80.

Even though this push car is small, it's not wanting for practicality—there's a small storage space under the seat, and a cupholder on the push handle. It's designed to be a smaller, more stylish replacement for a conventional stroller.

It's finished in one of McLaren's signature colors, Ventura Orange, and it even features a race-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel that McLaren says offers "excellent feedback." Steering feel is important, even to toddlers.

The 570S push car comes with Step2's so-called "Whisper Wheels" for a smooth ride, and a speaker that plays engine noises. McLaren and Step2 truly thought of everything here.

You'll be able to buy the 570S Step2 Push Sports Car on Amazon for $80 next month, and it'll hit other US retailers later this year. If $80 seems like a steep price to pay, don't forget that the full-size 570S Spider starts at $211,000. Suddenly, this sounds like a bargain.

Hopefully we'll get our hands on a review unit soon.
