Here Are the Sketches That Evolved Into the Dodge Demon Logo

Only one could make the final cut. Here are the ones that didn't.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is cool for a lot of reasons, one of which is its badge. It's a mean, scary looking demon head with sharp horns, fangs, and an evil smile. It turns out there were dozens of alternate designs that could've made it onto the car, and some of them look really cool.

Mark Trostle, Head of Design at Dodge and SRT, revealed a host of alternative logos created during the car's development today. Some of them look similar to the Hellcat's logo, while others take design cues from Mopars of old. Here, take a look.

The final logo seems to be a good mashup of a few of the designs, and fits perfectly with the car's drag racing mantra. It's properly aggressive, but doesn't stray too far from the Hellcat's badge, which is good considering that's the car the Demon is based on.
