The RUF CTR Yellow Bird remains one of the most legendary air-cooled sports cars on Earth. But if yellow isn't your thing, we think this mint green CTR might be the 212-mph turbocharged Porsche for you.
Built to the same specifications as the iconic Yellow Bird, this 1988 CTR Clubsport features a fully built twin-turbo 3.2-liter flat-six pushing out 469 horsepower through a six-speed transmission to the rear wheels, as well as an aluminum hood, engine cover, roll cage, fenders, and doors. The rain gutters have been trimmed, while the fiberglass front and rear bumpers have been adjusted.
This car had its K26 turbochargers and transmission rebuilt in 2015, and is now being offered for sale during RM Sotheby's Paris auction in 2018 with an estimated selling price .
It's not often you see a CTR go up for sale, and according to RM Sotheby's, this is the only mint green example in existence. If you're in the market, we recommend picking this car up.
