Following the iconic CTR Yellowbird, Ruf Automobiles built this car, the CTR2. Based on the 993-generation 911 Turbo, it sports a Ruf-modified 3.6-liter twin-turbo air-cooled flat-six engine based on the motor found in Porsche's 962 Le Mans race car. It's incredibly quick, as you're about to see.
Under 30 examples of the CTR2 were built in total, so seeing one out and about is a rare sight. Its unique wing not only creates downforce, but channels air into the twin intercoolers for each turbo. It also looks super cool.
Car YouTuber got the chance to film this CTR2 lineup against some modern supercars for a drag racing event recently on a Swiss runway. It's cool to watch as it keeps up with cars half its age, or newer. With 520 horsepower and 505 lb.-ft. of torque, it doesn't seem like much of a problem. Check out the full video below.
