It seems like every vintage Ferrari these days has skyrocketed in value beyond reach for the general public. If you're not super-wealthy, you might have a hard time finding a fun classic car with a prancing horse badge to keep in your garage. But there is still at least one cheap Ferrari out there worth your attention: the 308 GTB.
Featured on the latest episode of , this white 308 has lived an interesting life at the hands of restoration master Donnie Callaway. He lusted after this exact car while working at a Ferrari dealership in the 1980s, and managed to rediscover it years later for sale at a scrapyard. He purchased it for just $25,000. After making it drivable again, he hit some black ice in Arizona and spun it off the road. Callaway then performed a full restoration, which Leno seems to love.
GTB-spec 308s benefited from fuel injection and four valves per cylinder, making them peppy and incredibly fun. They also look great, despite those US-regulation five-mph bumpers. Sure, it might not be the dream 12-cylinder mid-engine vintage supercar, but for the $70,000-$80,000 range, we'd say it's plenty.
