Outlaw-type restorations have become pretty popular, though we never thought we'd see it done on something as obscure as a 1950s Lancia. But that's exactly what this shop in the UK specializes in. Meet the Lancia Aurelia B20GT by Thornley Kelham.
Thornley Kelham is a restoration firm in Southwest England that works primarily on vintage Lancias. Henry Catchpole of recently made a visit to their shop to check out their outlaw-specced Aurelia, and it's about the coolest '50s Lancia we've ever seen. Featuring a cut roof, a perfect stance, some sweet gunmetal wheels, a custom rack and pinion steering system, a bumper delete, a custom interior, and an engine making 70 horsepower more than stock, it's everything you'd want in an Outlaw-style classic. It also helps that the Aurelia looks great and handles wonderfully, even without all the upgrades.
According to Thornley Kelham, the idea started as a request from an unnamed car collector in California, and has since blossomed into an entire division of their shop—the car Catchpole gets to drive was commissioned by a race car driver.
Watch for yourself as Carfection walks us through the car and take a look at the history of Thornley Kelham's history of restoring iconic classic Lancias.
