Update 4/2/2019: This 187-mile Acura NSX ended up selling for a crazy $151,000, making it one of the most expensive original NSXs we've ever seen. For some context, you can buy a slightly used 2018 model-year NSX . Our original article regarding the car's listing on Bring a Trailer, published on March 26th, 2019, can be seen below.
Low-mileage vintage Japanese sports cars are all the rage right now. Back in January, a 1994 Supra Turbo with just 7000 miles on the clock sold for $121,000. Three months later, a Honda S2000 with just 91 miles showing on the odometer went for $70,000. Now, there's another virtually new '90s Honda up for grabs. It's an Acura NSX with just 187 miles, painted in a lovely shade of green.
Listed , this 1994 NSX is optioned with the five-speed manual and a black leather interior. The paint, officially called Brooklands Green Pearl, maintains a deep shine, despite being 25 years old. According to the listing, the car sat in a collection until 2018 unregistered, before it was acquired by the selling dealer. It comes included with a bunch of original documents, including the window sticker and manuals. Pictures from the listing include views of the underside, which still have their factory markings. The Yokohama tires have a 2003 date code, and the oil was changed by the seller recently. So it's not totally original. But judging by looks, it's as if this car was just pulled off the showroom in 1994.
Bring a Trailer says this is one of just 34 1994 NSXs painted this shade of green. As of this writing, the car holds a high bid of $61,500 with seven days remaining. If this auction is anything like that Supra or S2000, we can see it going for a whole bunch of money.
