Goodwood's Lord March Sent Me A Daffodil Bulb

Lord March knows that looking at flowers is better than looking at calendars.

Goodwood brought back the Members' Meeting just two years ago after the Revival got huge and Lord March felt the members of the deserved something a bit more exclusive. The Members' Meeting in March is still open for everyone, but tickets are limited to roughly 18,000 lucky guests. After attending the last MM, I called the event "," mostly because of the unbelievable action taking place there year after year.

To make it even more spectacular, Goodwood goes the distance by hiring a Dutch gardener who plants about 300,000 daffodils in just four days in late September, using a special machine he developed solely for the purpose.
