De Tomaso hasn't been around for awhile. Its last car, the Nuova Pantera concept, is set to sell at auction next month. But just because there aren't any new Panteras being made doesn't mean every current example is being locked away in a climate-controlled garage. In the case of this hillclimb race car, its actually the opposite.
This blue race-prepped De Tomaso Pantera was spotted competing in the Lučine Hillclimb event, and it's just as cool to watch as you'd think. Despite the car's 25- year age, driver Roberto Dal Cin has no trouble pushing it to the limit at every corner.
According to the video, this Pantera makes 500 horsepower from its Ford V8, and judging by the speed, we don't doubt it. The sound isn't half-bad either.
So throw on some headphones and watch this '70s Frankenstein Italian wonder attack the hill at full force. You won't regret it.
