The trick involved Block jumping over the tracks right before the train reached the crossing. It was no small feat.

The ninth iteration of Ken Block's stunt-filled action-packed Gymkhana video series dropped just over a year ago. One of the main stunts involved Block jumping over a train crossing just as the train was reaching the road. It looked awesome, but how exactly did the film team pull it off?

Ford Performance uploaded a behind-the-scenes video this past weekend showing you how exactly Hoonigan, the train conductor, and Block came together to make the train crossing stunt happen. Obviously, it all came down to timing.

The director had to coordinate with the train operator and Block to make sure neither of the vehicles arrived at the crossing too early or too late. The car's speed can be adjusted easily, but not the train's, meaning once both were on the move, it was up to Block to make sure everything lined up nicely for the cameras.

Of course, Block nailed it, and we got to see an awesome stunt unfold. Watch for yourself to see how it all went down.
