Over the years, car companies have come up with some of the most creative ads ever on TV. Which classic car commercial do you like the most?
I'm a big fan of Porsche's commercials in the 1990s—specifically, this one narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart.
It starts out straightforward enough—Porsche shows two 911s rolling off the assembly line: A street car, and a Le Mans endurance racing car, drawing a connection to the track. Things get a little more interesting once we see the owner of the street car give the keys to a couple of valet drivers, who proceed to go a joyride. While the owner enjoys dinner, the two valets have the time of their lives. Car commercials just aren't made like this anymore.
Now we'd like to know: Which vintage car commercial do you love? It doesn't have to be marketing a sports car like the Porsche ad above, either—it just has to be a classic car commercial you love. Let us know in the comments below.
