If you want to evaluate the quality of a new set of hubs, there are probably several ways you could do that. But the folks at Transit Center tried something a little different. They threw them on a van and sent it out to a snow-covered track for a few laps.
A van? Yep. A Ford Transit, actually. Except the Transit they used is no ordinary delivery van. Its engine has been swapped out in favor of the V8 from a BMW M5. The video doesn't say whether or not it's the current F10 M5, but we're not sure that matters. It clearly has more than enough power to overwhelm those poor rear tires.
If you notice, that's also no ordinary driver. It's actually Polish drifter Maciej Polody. And while the Drift Bus is clearly a little different than his competition-prepped , he still manages to get pretty darn sideways in it.
Of course, it's easy to get a rear-wheel-drive car's tail out on a snowy race track, this older video shows the Drift Bus is just as drift-tacular when the tarmac is dry.
