While the sets that come straight from Lego are already amazing, there are a number of people out there who take it upon themselves to make their own designs from the bricks Lego provides.

Instead of ignoring the designs, Lego has an entire website dedicated to fostering them, and if they get enough votes, they can become official sets. The cars section is full of designs that are equal parts amazing and equal parts disappointing. But there are some that are just incredible. These are our favorites
