It's easy to rag on the V6 Mustang. The GT, with its more powerful V8 engine, has always been the cool version to have. But that doesn't mean the V6 is unworthy.
The V6 offered in the Mustang took a huge leap forward in 2011 when Ford offered a new 305-hp 3.7-liter V6 that made nearly as much horsepower as some previous V8s. But among Mustang fans, even that wasn't enough to push the base-model Mustang beyond its longstanding stigma. As long as there's a V8, any V6 will always be seen as the "lesser" Mustang.
But as argues, in a first-time video featuring co-writer Roman as the host instead of Mr. Regular, the 2004 Mustang V6 has plenty of qualities that make it a great car. It might not have the reputation or the power of the GT, but there's nothing wrong with that.
