This V10-Powered M3 Drift Machine Sounds Like an Old F1 Car

It also shoots flames.

The E60-generation M5 wasn't the greatest performance car to come from BMW's motorsport division, but, it did give us a monster of a V10 engine. Drifter Luke Fink installed one of these V10s in his E46 M3 drift car and the results are, well, just watch. Make sure you have headphones on.

Done? Ok, great. So yeah, this M3 sounds like a Greatest Hits compilation from the glory days of V10-powered F1 cars. It's no doubt helped by the vast expanse of Abu Dhabi's stadium-like Yas Marina Circuit here, but man, this car rips. And by "rips," I mean it rips a hole straight into your cerebral cortex.

If for some reason the clip above wasn't enough, here's a shot of Fink's M3 spitting flames from its exhaust. Make sure you turn the volume down for this one.

Frankly, we need to see more drift cars employ howling V10s like Fink's. It'd make the world a better place.
