If you've been concerned about where Acura was headed, you're not alone. The company has struggled lately, not necessarily with selling crossovers but with it sedans. Part of it has had to do with some unfortunate styling decisions that have been made, but also a lack of performance.
The Precision Concept is what Acura hopes will change all of that. Yes, it's just a concept, but it's a concept that shows the direction Acura intends to head. You probably won't see this concept specifically on the road, but future Acuras will draw heavily from the "quantum continuum" design language.
Thankfully, that means the "beak" design language is gone. That can only be a good thing in our eyes.
Can we go ahead and declare Acura saved? Not just yet. There's still a lot of ground for the company to make up, but the new grille shows that Acura's at least listening to criticism. Maybe production cars with the new design language will have the performance to back up the new look.
At this point, who knows?
