Last Thursday during qualifying for the Spa 24 Hours, the number 22 GT-R NISMO GT3 suffered a tire puncture going up the famous Eau Rouge corner, sending the car straight into the barrier and destroying the front end. The damage was massive, but somehow, the team was able to fix the car and bring it back out just twelve hours later. Fortunately for us, NISMO got the whole repair on video.
The uploaded a short video detailing the crash, a time lapse of the repair, and the car's eventual return to the pit lane after a night of piecing the car back together. It's amazing what a team can do given some tools and man-power.
The number 22 GT-R would go on to finish the race 30th overall. For a car that just days before had its entire face smashed in, we'd say that's not bad.
