Update 11/20/18: The McRallye YouTube channel has uploaded yet another video of this stunning 911, but this time, it's from the perspective of the spectators, meaning we get to watch the car get sideways from the outside. We've added the new video at the bottom of this post, which was originally published September 23rd, 2018.
Rally videos never get boring. This one, taken from inside the cabin of an air-cooled Porsche 911 from an event that happened in September in Germany, might be one of the best.
This clip comes to us from rally YouTuber , and features drivers Andreas Dahms and Inka Lerch piloting a bright green air-cooled 911 during the first stage of the Lower Saxony Rally in Osterode, Germany.
If you've been watching the air-cooled market like we have, you'll know these cars haven't gotten any cheaper in the last few years. Yet, Dahms and Lerch have no problem going absolutely flat out, even grinding a few gears along the way. In the end, they finished 13th out of 43 entries, which is pretty good for a 30--year-old car. As with any other rally video, there's plenty of fantastic noises and sideways action to be had. Watch for yourself, and make sure to turn the volume up.
