The Miata is a wonderful car, but you know what would make it even more wonderful? A higher redline. This one's been modified to rev to 9000 RPM, and it sounds delightful.

Driven by Rico Hofstetter, this NB-generation Miata hillclimb car sports a tuned 220-horsepower version of the 1.6-liter NA Miata engine. It uses the smaller engine to fit into the 1600cc class, and only weighs 1763 pounds. Not only does it sound good, but it looks incredibly quick as well. Watch for yourself.
