This weekend, the World Endurance Championship (WEC) is at Fuji Speedway in Japan for its annual, six-hour race. Toyota, the only team to enter a hybrid LMP1 car, is favored to win, and Fernando Alonso is setting some fast lap times in the #8. Not bad, considering he hasn't been to Fuji since he won the Japanese Grand Prix in 2008, .
The WEC put up an onboard view of one of Alonso's laps during the first free practice section, and while nothing incredibly noteworthy happens, it's a fun watch. It's always interesting to watch LMP1 hybrids in action, as drivers have to manage battery charge throughout the lap.
