This Ford Fiesta Uses a 500-HP Cosworth Engine to Dominate Hillclimbs

Though it looks like it belongs at a WRC event, this Fiesta is actually a certified hillclimb monster.

As we've seen in the past, hillclimb cars come in all different sorts of shapes and sizes. We've seen everything from an ultra-wide Alfa Romeo 4C to a Nissan GT-R-powered Ford Focus. This Ford Fiesta looks like it's meant to be at a Rallycross championship event, but as you're about to see, it seems right at home at a hillclimb.

This Fiesta race car was originally built in 2009 to race at Pikes Peak by racing firm Olsbergs MSE. It's powered by a Cosworth YB four-cylinder making an astounding 500-horsepower to all four wheels via a sequential transmission, and looks brutally fast carving through this paved section at the Greek Hillclimb Championship this year.

Driven by Panagiotis Soldatos, it looks effortlessly quick, with tons of grip and a whole lot of turbo sound. Check out the full video below.
