Turbochargers are fantastic pieces of equipment, especially for racing. They give you more power and more torque without too much of a weight penalty. But as far as sound and response, there's nothing that beats a naturally aspirated motor.

This E36-generation BMW M3 hillclimb race car, built by Stéphane Emond of Belgium, uses an S50 inline-six tuned to over 400 horsepower without the help of forced induction. Sure, it could probably be faster with a turbo, but considering the sound, we think it's perfect as-is.
