Watching a rally car fly up a hillclimb paired with the sound of a chugging turbo diesel engine might seem a bit strange at first, but we have a feeling you'll catch on.

This is Peuegot's 3008 DKR Maxi, built to race in the Dakar rally. It's powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo diesel V6 making 340 horsepower and an impressive 590 lb.-ft. of torque. It may not sound like your typical hillclimb racer, but it's still something worth listening to.
