Have You Ever Seen a Volkswagen Corrado This Wide?

This car is almost comically wide. Oh, and it can rev to 10,000 RPM.

We've seen plenty of wide-body race cars before, but this has got to be one of the more extreme examples. It's a Volkswagen Corrado with a bodykit so wide you'd think it was designed for SEMA. From what we can tell, the entire width of the wheels sit outside the original body lines.

Under the hood of this Corrado sits an Audi race engine formerly used in the British Touring car championship series. Listen as it revs to 10,000 RPM while competing in Italy's FIA Hillclimb Masters 2018 championship.
