While Nico Rosberg is retired from racing in Formula 1, he hasn't journeyed far from the track. This video of him shot from inside a McLaren Senna is a good indicator of how quick the 2016 world champion still is.
Rosberg uploaded this clip to earlier in the week, showing him pushing the 789-horsepower McLaren to the limit on a section of the Paul Ricard circuit in the South of France. Despite the car being worth over $1 million, he doesn't hold anything back, slamming curbs and jamming the steering wheel from one side to the other while trying to set a lap time. There are a couple of times he nearly loses control, and at one point, he even overheats the clutch.
While it's safe to assume he's putting on a bit of a performance for the camera, it's still impressive to watch. How often to you get to see an F1 champion muscle one of the latest and greatest street cars on track?
