The 2019 World Rally Championship season has been a good one so far. It kicked off at the end of January, before traveling up to Sweden and then all the way to Mexico. The teams are back in Europe this weekend for the Tour de Corse, a tarmac event on the French island of Corsica. It looks like the drivers aren't holding anything back.

Drivers haven't wasted any time going all out on the narrow tarmac stages, cutting corners and flinging dirt onto the road during shakedown. Despite these stages not being counted towards the event, it seems they're not leaving anything on the table.

British driver Chris Meeke managed to set the quickest overall time so far, though, because many of this year's stages are new versus last year's event, it's anyone's guess to as to who will come out on top once the main event gets underway. We'll be watching. Will you?
