This 1982 FinnKart 85cc SF A1, chassis no. 466, carried a 14-year-old Häkkinen to two major victories: a first-place finish in the Ronnie Peterson Memorial Championship, and second place in that year's Finnish Karting Championship. The year prior, Häkkinen had clinched the Finnish Karting Championship title, and by 1983, the young Flying Finn was competing in the Formula Nordic 100-cc class.
Häkkinen, of course, moved up to Formula Ford in 1987, eventually reaching Formula 1 in 1991 and winning back-to-back World Champion titles in 1998 and 1999. You probably won't accomplish anything like that. But you could . It's expected to fetch up to $23,000.
