The last of four Bobby Rahal Legends of Motorsports is set for December 3-5 at Sebring and will now feature to additional run groups, one for Sport 2000 racers and the other, called American Thunder, which will feature NASCAR and tube-frame Trans Am, IMSA GT and GT-1 cars. Sport 2000 are closed fender two-seat roadsters. "Sports 2000 has a strong following and colorful history in US road racing," said Rahal. "The Trans-Am, GT and stock cars that will compose the American Thunder Category are also a celebrated part of US racing history and are always fan favorites. The addition of these two categories will make our finale at Sebring very special." In addition to these two groups, the Sebring event will also showcase IMSA GTP/Group C prototypes, Can Am cars and FIA Championship of Makes categories. Tickets for Legends of Motorsports at Sebring International Raceway are now on sale at and or by calling 1-800-626-RACE. Tickets are priced at $15 for Friday, $20 for Saturday, $25 for Sunday or $45 for a three-day pass. For the first time ever, Legends of Motorsports will offer track touring for purchase on all three days, enabling race fans to drive their own vehicles on the legendary 3.7-mile road course. Parking and car corral packages are also available for purchase. All tickets include access to the paddock. Children 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult.
