Historic racing cars driving around is always a good sight. To see them running and moving is something we can all enjoy. To see them being raced, well, that's even better.
The 2016 Vernasca Silver Flag, a revival race paying tribute to the original Vernasca hillclimb held at the same location, hosted a myriad of wonderful historic race cars for this year's event. Everything from a rally-spec Ford Escort to a McLaren M1C Can-Am car got the opportunity to climb up the hill and fill the mountains with the sound of competition engines and the sweet smell of race gas.
