Just when you thought the NASCAR V8-powered Lexus LFA was the craziest drift car humanity can come up with, Ryan Tuerck and a team big enough to populate a village created a Toyota GT86 with a Ferrari V8 out of a 458. Then, they drifted it around a 458, proving that the 4586 idea worked out just fine.
It's a hell of a machine that sounds way better than any Toyota 86 could ever hope to and drifts better than you could ever imagine. The engineering behind getting the 458's engine into this car is also amazing. We're working on getting up close with it to see just how crazy this thing is.
But now it's time for the team to head out to California's Willow Springs Raceway, to demonstrate some crazy angles, create a lot of smoke and make some noise only a Ferrari can. Even if it's a Toyota without the Subaru bits. We heartily approve of this message.
