Even from the factory, the Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R was a giant killer. It boasted an advanced all-wheel-drive system and a powerful turbocharged straight-six motor, with the fantastic handling to match. But what happens when you turn the first iteration of Godzilla into a straight-up rally car? Unsurprisingly, very good things.
Japanese car show got the chance to spend some time with a rally-converted GT-R back 1994 when the car was new. Equipped with a stripped interior, roll cage, mud flaps, and some aggressive gravel tires, it had everything you'd need to hit the stages.
And because it was still a GT-R, this yellow monster could rocket down a dirt road with expert speed and precision. The video below shows the car being pushed to the absolute limit around a loose-surface course going completely sideways, and boy does it look like fun.
Take a look for yourself, and let all of your JDM fantasies become reality.
