The gorgeous McLaren 570GT is made for long drives, and there's no place better for it than Scotland. Why? Well, the country is filled with amazing roads that wind around its many lochs and through its mountains with amazing scenery around every corner. But there's a more specific reason too.

As Carfection's Henry Catchpole explains, Bruce McLaren was from New Zealand, but you can trace his roots to Scotland. Catchpole takes the 570GT to the seat of the McLaren clan, a church built over 800 years ago. There, you can find the graves of many of Bruce's ancestors.

You could take any sports car to these amazing Scottish roads and have a good time, but bringing a McLaren is a bit more special. The car and the country enjoy a special connection, and knowing that has to be satisfying when you're behind the wheel.

Really, this video just wants me to book a cheap flight from New York and retrace Catchpole's route. It looks like heaven.
