In order to shoot what seems to be a 14-minute commercial for the new GT, Ford took its Triple Yellow press car to Norway, perhaps the most stunning chunk of Scandinavia, for an entire week. Evo's Steve Sutcliffe was there to join the party, followed by a fleet of drones as he went driving along Atlantic Ocean Road to bring us this high-resolution supercar feast.
To justify this expense report, Ford decided to break the lap record at the Arctic Circle Raceway, the world's northernmost track large enough for a 647-horsepower GT, while they were nearby. Unsurprisingly, Ford's Le Mans driver Stefan Mücke had to wait quite a few days for this two-decade-old circuit to dry out—Scandinavian weather isn't quite the same as Southern California, you know. But when that finally happened, the car did exactly what it was made to do: Attacking those corners while looking like no other car on the planet.
Yellow goes well with Norway.
